I felt really good the first 2 laps of The Central Coast Cross Series race #3. Then I got a bad patch, but still kept trying my best. In the end all the dust really affected my breathing, and I could not get past it all. Not the result I wanted, but at least I kept fighting and did not fully collapse. I know I will get better. This particular race, a new venue at Laguna Seca Raceway, put me under a lot of stress being the promoter. Yet I really liked the course and there were times when I had good sensations in the legs. I felt ill all week leading up to the race, so I know I have some good rides still out there for the taking when I feel more relaxed. I really have a strong desire to race so much harder then I was able to today.
