Long Ride

Today it was a 4 hour ride. Saturday morning I was 1st to the top of the A climb, out of a really big group, but the legs still felt sore. So I did a long ride with lots of spinning today. I also climbed the Los Laureles grade over to Robinson Canyon. I like that loop, then back along the coast. I need more recovery and rest. The legs are sore.
I like Greg Lemond. The guy was the first American to win the Tour de France and the World Road Championship. In cycling the road to being the best is brutal and full of obstacles. Greg Lemond had his moments when he was simply the best. He also was one of the ones who motivated me to be a cyclists. He was a hero of mine.
